Ranthambore National Park Trip

Ranthambore National Park is located in Rajasthan. It was once a hunting ground for the Maharaja of Rajasthan. You can find many types of wild animals in their natural habitat. The whole area is spread over an area of 1334 km. It is located in Sawai Madhopur District. It is the most majestic place to be into the mystic world of Mother Nature.

Ranthambore National Park lies between the Aravali and the Vindhya mountain ranges.Every nature lover knows about the presence of tigers in this National Park. The terrain is rugged and there are rocky ridges, hills and open valleys with lakes and pools. This place is a heritage site due to presence of ruins of monuments. There is an ancient fort which should never be missed. From this place a visitor can get the arial view of the whole park. Apart from tigers this park also gives shelter to animals like Leopards, Striped Hyenas, Sambar deer, Chital, Nilgai, Common or Hanuman langurs, Macaques, Jackals, Jungle cats, Caracals, Sloth bears, Black bucks, Rufoustailed Hare, Indian Wild Boar etc.

There are three lakes named 'padam Talao, Rajbagh Talao, Malik Talao'. In the middle of padam Talao there are beautiful white lotuses which look splendid amidst the woods. Generally all animals come to this lake to drink water. Rajbagh Talao is the most captivating of all the three having Rajbagh ruins on the banks of the lake. It's an ideal place for photography. Malik Talao is famous for its large number of birds like Plovers, Moor hens, Herons and Storks etc and Marsh Crocodiles. There are some more tourist attractions such as Kachida Valley, Bakaula, Anantpura and Lakarda within Ranthambore National Park beside the Ranthambore National Park.
