Day 01/ Cochin-Munnar
Arrive at Cochin airport or Ernakulam Railway station and transfer to Munnar
(140 Kms / 04 Hrs).Enroute Enjoy beautiful streams, small water falls, Rubber, Pepper cardamom and Tea plantations and thick forests . God has blessed this country with incomparable beauty - to have everlasting memory of Kerala. Arrive Munnar & check into Hotel.. Night stay in Munnar.
Day 02/ Munnar :
After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Munnar covering Mattupetty Lake
& Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary famous for Nilagiri Tahr and Tea gardens .Munnar is a nature lover's paradise with endless teagardens lakes on western ghat hills , basically it is a
tea town. Arrive back to the hotel in the evening . Night stay in Munnar.
Day 03/ Munar - Kumarakom :
Morning check out of the hotel and drive to Kumarakom (145 Kms / 4 Hrs).Enroute visit beautiful rubber and tea plantations.Arrive Kumarakom & visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary ( famous for migratory and local birds ) and later check in at hotel, Kumarakom is famous for endless view of calm clean backwater of Kerala with canals, paddy fields and fishing villages. Evening go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanadu Lake. Night stay in Kumarakom
Day 04/ Houseboat
Morning free at Leisure in resort. Afternoon check in at houseboat. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals. Have Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner.Enjoy evening on the sundeck away from polluted cities and maddening crowd. Only disturbance will be twinkle of a shining star or diving of a fish around you to say hello by waving its tail from the lake. Night stay in House Boat.
Day 05/ Departure
Morning free at leisure, later check out from Hotel and transfer to Airport / Railway station. for your onward destination . |
