| India’s weather largely depends on its vast geographic scale and varied topography ranging from desert in the west to humid tropical regions with rainforest in the southwest and the alpine tundra and glaciers in the north to island territories in the south. So, the weather of India comprises of broadly of four seasons which are Winter Season from January to February; Summer Season from March to May, Monsoon or Rainy Season from June to September and a Post-Monsoon Season from October to December. However, the whole country of India is considered to be tropical as Tropic of Cancer passes through the middle of India. |
